编者按：主题为“寒假”的澎湃第五届寒暑假征稿活动正式启动至今，我们收到了不少小画家、小作家们的作品。孩子们用文字、图像、视频，展示了他们眼中的寒假生活，接下来作品会陆续刊登。

ChineseNewYearistheChinesefestivalthatcelebratesthebeginningofanewyearonthetraditionalChinesecalendar.ItisthemostimportantdayforChinesefamilieswithalonghistory.IthascontributedtomanytraditionsinChineseculture.

DuringChineseNewYear,peopleloveeatingdumplings.Dumplingsisakindoffolkfoodwithasweathistory.Thereisafolkthatsaysthereisnothingmoredeliciousthanyummydumplings.Everyspringfestival,dumplingsisanessentialdelicacy.AsthecustominmanypartsofChina,onNewYearsEve,thereisnosubstitutefordumplings.Theyareanimportantpartofthegreatfeast.

PeoplewouldliketowearredclothesfortheSpringfestival,becauseitheraldsprosperityofthenewyear.Asthetimegoesby,themoralofpeoplewearingredclothesismoreextensive.Notonlydoesredmakefamiliesprosperousinthenewyear,butalsorepresentsthehappyatmosphereforChinesecelebration.
