编者按：主题为“寒假”的澎湃第五届寒暑假征稿活动正式启动至今，我们收到了不少小画家、小作家们的作品。孩子们用文字、图像、视频，展示了他们眼中的寒假生活，接下来作品会陆续刊登。

今天刊登的是来自ValeyVast英语俱乐部的Elina小朋友的投稿。她在作文里描述了火车站春节回乡的人，哈尔滨冬季的冬泳和冰雕还有每年春运期间的摩托车回乡大军的故事。让我们起来读一读她的作文吧。

ChineseNewYearisatraditionalfestival.ItisonlunarJanuaryfirst.

ItisthemostimportantfestivalforChinesepeople,justlikeChristmasinthewest.Allthepeoplelivingawayfromtheirhometownsgoback.Railwaystationsarecrowdedwithpeoplegoinghome.Forsomepeople,theChineseNewYearistheonlyholidaytheyhave.InBeijing,therearesomepeoplecalledRedCaps,theyhelppeopleloadtheirluggageonthetrain.

InHarbin,peopleembracesub-zerotemperatures.Duringthewintermonths,somepeoplegoforwinterswimming.Winterswimmingisasportforthebravepeople.Youneedtohavesomeresilience.EveryyearpeopleinHarbinuseicetomakeanicecity.Everyyeartherearedifferentthemes.Theicecastlesareallmadeofice.tonsoficearecuttobuildtheicecity.Intheevening,thelightsintheicebringthecitytolife.Itlooksflawlessandhightechnical.PeopleputtheLEDsintheiceandusethewatertomaketwoiceblockssticktogether.

EveryNewYearinChina,thousandsofmotorcyclistsgobackhomebymotorcycles.Theydon’ttaketheplane,becausetheydon’thaveenoughmoney.

DuringChineseNewYear,everyonecelebrateswiththeirfamiliesandhaveadelectabledinnertogether.Butthisyear,becauseofthecoronavirus,wedidn’thavedinnertogether.Althoughwedidn’thavedinnertogether,ourheartsarestilltogether.
